Projects

Organize your tasks into projects with workspace directories, task tracking, and team context.

Projects let you group related tasks together, associate them with a workspace directory, and track progress across multiple conversations with your AI agent.

Creating a Project

  1. Click Projects in the left sidebar (or type /projects in the chat input)
  2. Click New Project
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Name — A short, descriptive project name
    • Description — What this project is about (optional)
    • Workspace — The filesystem directory this project works in. Click the folder icon to browse, or type the path directly
    • Color — A color for visual identification in the sidebar

Working with Projects

Creating Tasks in a Project

From the Project Detail page, click New Task. This:

  • Opens the home page with the project context shown as a badge
  • Automatically sets the workspace to the project's directory
  • Auto-assigns the new task to the project after creation

Assigning Existing Tasks

On the Project Detail page:

  1. Click + Add next to the Tasks heading
  2. A picker shows all unassigned tasks
  3. Click a task to assign it to the project
  4. Hover over an assigned task and click X to remove it

Project Status

Projects support four statuses:

  • Active — Currently in progress (default)
  • In Progress — Actively being worked on
  • Completed — All work is done
  • Archived — No longer needed (hidden from sidebar)

Sidebar Navigation

Active projects appear in the sidebar below the navigation items. Each project shows:

  • A color dot matching the project color
  • The project name
  • A task count badge
  • Click the chevron to expand and see recent tasks

Slash Commands

  • /projects — Navigate to the Projects page
  • /dashboard — View project activity and stats

Dashboard

The Dashboard page (accessible via sidebar or /dashboard command) shows:

  • Task statistics — Running, completed, failed, and stopped counts
  • Activity feed — Recent mutations across all projects
  • Task flow chart — 7-day visualization of tasks created, completed, and failed
  • Cost summary — Token usage breakdown by model (API costs only, subscription usage excluded)
