# DesignMode captures the surface, project name, brief, and reusable design system before generation starts.

The demo opens DesignMode, selects the prototype surface, enters a project name and brief, starts the project, and lands on the project workspace.

## Steps

1. Open the surface picker
2. Select prototype surface
3. Pause on prototype controls
4. Name the project
5. Pause on project name
6. Write the design brief
7. Pause on completed brief
8. Create the DesignMode project
9. Hold on generated project workspace
